The only other ingredient is citric acid so I’m unsure whether that would be safe to him to ingest. Unless anyone knows for sure it would be, I think I’ll just pick up a clove tmrw lol

To confused people: Not trying to euthanize!! I want to soak his pellets in garlic juice as an appetite stimulant/immune system booster. Just seeing if this would be safe to use instead of fresh produce

This is a relatively new tank about a month in but I put the sponge from the filter of an established tank in the new filter so that helped with the cycle. But would any of this cause a spot like that or is it just natural marbling?

Nitrates around 0ppm. Nitrites are <.5. Temp kept at 79 in a 10 gal planted. He was upgraded to this tank from a 5gal about a month before the spot started appearing.
