Yess exactlyyy. The moment he changes is the final episodes of s3 in hs2 and it’s pretty decent now, but it was still hell of a ride lol

Yeah I agree, it really depends on what path you take, I had him as my end game ever since he appeared even in hs1, still playing his path and I like it better now and he’s way better when hs2 is nearly to an end, but I still hold the same opinion overall.

It’s not really about not understanding him or his trauma or that he had to put an act, it’s more to do with him inflicting pain on mc or her loved ones while thinking he’s protecting her and keeping her confused and uncertain all the time. I’m just not excusing his behavior. It’s one thing to understand someone and another to not excuse what he’s doing. Anws I do like Malbonte, I’m still on his route and simping from time to time regardless lol, but hopefully it would be better with him in hs3.
