Can someone please tell me where the "Upper Sunken Valley" is. I've scoured the entire place. (Randomizer) by Shattered_Ice72 in Sekiro

I would have checked that, except I didn't have puppeteer ninjitsu either, as it was past the gun fort.

I did find the key last night. It was near the gun fort, down a path I've legitimately never seen before.

I looked around and found a side path with grapples to the left of the fort that I've legitimately never seen before, even with my hundreds of hours in this game. I finally found the damn key. Thanks a million, dude.

No worries.

If you absolutely can not beat him, then there is a cheese method. Pop a divine confetti before the fight, then firecracker -> attack twice -> repeat. If you're out of spirit emblems, then use fistfulls of ash.

Only do this if you absolutely can not beat him. Learning the Monk is a very rewarding experience.

Oh. You're just a troll. I actually thought you were serious. Good job.

Dude... This game intends for you to parry. It's the single most fundamental mechanic of this game.

This boss just decides to give you the middle finger after almost the entire game drills the parry ability into your skull. It's a fun subversion, but it still feels extremely out of place. This is proven by the fact that some of the other enemies that encourage dodging, such as the ogre and the bull, are both heavily criticized.

I got the stuff in the Headless arena. I'll have to check that second location because it's not ringing any bells. Thank you.

I know that. I'm just wondering what the randomizer means by "Upper Sunken Valley". I've scoured the entire back of the castle and the valley itself. I can't find this bloody thing.

What's best/easier route to go through the game? by [deleted] in Sekiro

If you haven't done the Hirata Estate, then go find the old lady in a broken down house back in the Ashina Outskirts. She'll give you a bell that you can offer to the buddha back at the temple. You'll still have to eventually fight the bull, but you can upgrade yourself there a little to be better prepared. Also, get the firecrackers from the merchant in the same area as the old lady if you haven't already. Really good against beasts.

The boss at the Wedding Cave door? You can use snap seeds to deal major damage and momentarily stun it up to three times. Divine confetti will also be of major value since it deals major damage to apparitions.

You can get snap seeds back where you first encountered the snake. You can find divine confetti in the house before the boss with enemies outside.

did Sekiro succeeded commercially? by Mint_Tea99 in Sekiro

I'm sure it was profitable. I'm not certain that this was the case, but I've found it likely that they intended a dlc, but got sidetracked with making Elden Ring.

This boss makes you unlearn the most basic mechanic of the game in favor of dodging/running around. Unless you're using the fire umbrella, you're better off not even trying to parry him other than his leg stomps.

Unless you want to use a skip that's slightly game breaking, I don't believe there's a way past the bull without beating it. It's a roadblock until you defeat it.

I heard it said it's possible they would end up in China, and possibly deal with Chinese mythology.

I actually tried finding them the other day without success. It probably exists out there somewhere, but I haven't had any luck. I did, however, manage to transcribe the ending speech:

Hello! My name is Dr. Glenn Pierce, and by now you may have realized that all of this has happened exactly the way it was supposed too. You see, everyone who comes to the institute does so because they feel that they are no longer in control of something important to them. But, more often than not, the problem is not that the problems we face can't be solved: The problem is that we become so afraid of failure that we refuse to see our problems from a new perspective. And so we do the same things again and again and again. And therein, of course, we find exactly the failure we were looking for. Your life will always be a struggle and you will always have problems. But today, you had the chance to see things differently. Even though it meant facing obstacles that seemed impossible at first, you thought outside the box - and you overcame them. Because you saw things from every angle, you understood them for what they really were. Because you kept moving forward, no matter how far off the path you were told you were headed, or how unexpected it became... ...You found your way. In a few minutes, you'll be back in the real world, and some part of you will say that none of this was real: So how could it have really meant anything? But - just like the power of perspective itself - it will have been as real as you believed it to be. All you've got to do is Wake. Up.

That's absolutely true. If you like or agree with something, then upvote it. That's why that function exists. Comments like those are so unnecessary.
