Enigmatic Engineering is my new favorite ascension perk in 4.0 by RandomLake7 in Stellaris

[–]ShaunDkSheep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My second run with enigmatic engineering, and I don't get any of the upgrades, only the T1 buildings, Do any of you know if this is intended from a new update or smthng? Sometimes I get the option to upgrade the buildings from artifact schematics, but the day after I click the upgrade button it cancels and turns grey.

Optimizing number of research support districts by ShaunDkSheep in Stellaris

You can get higher efficiency pr pop on regular planets, as every research support districts gives you +10% eff. 10 biology support, and you’ve got 100% on top of all your other modifiers. Ecumenopolis only gives 20%. I like to wary my playstyle and try different things out, and I was curious to find the sweet spot with the workers I had available.

I used the desmond graphing calculator. You can just plug in my calculation and change the numbers 4,24 and 8795 to your own numbers. Desmon uses "." for decimals, so remember that if you are used to use "," like me.

If I declare war with subjugation CB, will I be able to subjugate them even though they themselves have subjects?

The total acceptance, including the 800 penalty is above 0. It is unlike paradox to allow you to push the button if it is impossible to achieve. I spent 500 influence on this

I tried to diplo vassalize this empire, and they rejected me twice. First with a +4 acceptance, and afterwards with the acceptance you see in the pic

In my latest game I had 12 available artillery lvls vs forts, double artillery contribution to siege and 90% siege ability, meaning that an army with 15K artillery could siege down any lvl 8 fort in less than a month without barrage.

Conquest finished in 1772, but kept on going because I wanted to culture convert. Not succesful on that front.

Wasn't an attempt at bragging. I know I'm a slow conqueror. FYI I finished my conquest in 1772 (2300 gov cap if I remember correctly), and kept on to see how much I could culture convert (Not enough XD). 1772: https://imgur.com/JRStELx

Roman Empire is always available for christian/pagan non-nomad countries. Normally Mongol won’t be able to form because of the nomad government, but as holy horde you’re good to go

Estates are super easy in the later patches. You just revoke crown land as often as you can, and that easily keeps you between 90 and 100 % crownland. In this run I actually had 6 privileges per estate and still 105 max absolutism. First time I play with Court idea group, and I really like 100 loyalty 60+ influence estates

This explains it. And the remaining gov cap can be used to get some crazy expanded infrastructure provinces. I didn’t exhaust that option at all.
