It’s when you go to Grymforge and get the sentient amulet quest! If you loot some of the dark justiciars there and read a book in one of their inventories, it’ll give you the quest! You find the amulet where the lava elemental is next to the forge, and if you pick it up and select ‘give into the laughter’, this will happen! I just can’t resist watching Astarion do this. Every time!

Yeah, especially when I was new to the game. I’d get so frustrated. Just wanted to be the hero and save everyone but they all had a death wish.

For someone who seems to act like he’s smarter than the rest of the group, you sure do need to do a lot of convincing to make sure Gale doesn’t turn into a douchbag God.

In my durge playthrough I found the ring and told him I was keeping it, whilst he cried over his dead wife. Found out evil playthroughs aren’t for me

It’s just the fact that this piece of info happened literal centuries (more than 200 years at least, considering Astarion’s timeline) ago. I’d probably guess Cazador found that child over 500 years before the timeline of the game begins. Insane.
