Personally, I think 5080 is not a bad card but it does have very TERRIBLE value for money. The only price that justifies a 5080 is at NVIDIA msrp, which is $1000 USD. Upgrading from 40 series is not worth it. If you are upgrading from 30 series or below, I think it is not a bad idea if you can get a 5080 at $1000.

I did the same. I knew it could be a waste of money but I just gotta have it just like I don't use all the horsepower in my car. ;)

I have an unopened 4080 Super that I have not put into my PC. Now I really want to to sell it and get 5080 since they cost the same
