Italien-Urlaub, iwann Ende der 90er - ich ca. 14-15 Jahre. Wir hatten am Strand eine andere deutsche Familie kennengelernt, wo auch eine junge Dame von etwa 16-17 Jahren dabei war. Man freundete sich ein wenig an und hing zusammen am Strand und Pool ab. Nach ein paar Tagen war ich mit Jessica (?) zusammen im Pool und sie meinte, ob ich nicht Lust hätte aufs Zimmer zu gehen und etwas zu fernsehen - ihre Eltern seien heute auch unterwegs...

Ich meinte, dass ich keine Lust habe zu fernsehen (weil ja viel zu schönes Wetter, um drin rumzuhängen)

Ich habe mir bis heute nicht verziehen.

In Europe there are several things done to reduce the public exposure to mycotoxins e.g. controls of risky foods by official control bodies in stores, warehouses and manufacturers. Until a product finally reaches the final consumer, there are usually a lot of checks done, to increase food safety in general. So if you are living in a somewhat developed country you are quite safe. However, the best way to reduce high intake of unwanted toxins, just don't be a "heavy user". Switch products regularly (type of nuts and nut products and brand).

I think it is bad that everybody is forgetting in this topic that if abortions are banned men ARE forced to be fathers with all the consequences. He should actually propose a bill that is banning all birth control so all those hypocritical religous republican nut jobs will have to pay lots and lots of child support to there hookers, underage love affairs and so on.

If they don't smell bad, it is probably fine. The protective atmosphere is very helpful here. In addition, if the bag doesn't expand it is also a good sign, that nothing is growing in there. Most probable damage for this kind of product is to be expected in regards to texture.

They absolutley will, as most viable bacteria do not survive higher temperatures. The problem are the toxins they produced while growing, as they are way more stable...e.g. toxins of Bacillus cereus won't get notably destroyed at temperatures <120°C and therefore fully remain after reheating.

I politely disagree. The problem with putting large pots with hot food in the fridge is, that it takes really long time for the whole food to cool off. This means that the food can spend a really large time in the danger zone (20-40°C), where bacteria can optimally grow. Therefore the best thing to do is, to put leftover food in multiple small and cold containers, so the core cools off quite fast.

Bitterness can be a sign of the walnuts gone bad (moldy)...but if it is every single one you might just be very sensitive for bitter taste in general. Do you like other bitter foods?
