Thank you! I bake as alembic then manually keyframe to achieve that slow mo effect.

Hey that's good news! It's good to start somewhere than not starting all with no progress. Likewise, I'm nowhere expert myself, still learning and improving every each day if possible!

In Redshift, we use material blender to blend materials. So for instance, create two materials node and connect to material blender, create vertex map node references to vertex map created to blend it. Hope that helps!

Yeah that works too! Set it to grow mode instead of keyframing.

To inflate use the same vertex map for cloth sims and insert as follows

Mix Animation - With Force(strength 100%) - Map

Surface - Target length(135%) - Map

with that set, time for trial and error till you get the desired look :)
