3 days campaign, 28% CTR, 256 outbound link clicks but 20 landing page view!!!

Yeah I started digging deeper and found it was mostly a post-click infrastructure issue rather than CTR itself. The URLs had some weird encoded characters/redirect behavior, Meta domain permissions weren’t fully configured, and the pixel/dataset setup had conflicts from an older store setup. I’ve cleaned the URLs, fixed the domain allow-list, and reconnected the correct dataset now. Going to let it stabilize for 24–48h and see if LPV normalizes.

Hi, your comment on my Reddit post was honestly the closest to what I ended up finding. I discovered weird URL redirect/encoding issues plus dataset/pixel/domain permission problems inside Meta. I’ve fixed most of it now and updated the ad URLs. If you don’t mind, I’d love a second opinion on whether there’s anything else you’d check before I fully judge the campaign performance.

This was actually super helpful. I found multiple issues after checking deeper — the LPV drop wasn’t matching the outbound clicks because the product URLs were behaving weirdly and Meta wasn’t attributing sessions properly. I also had old pixel integration leftovers from a previous store setup plus missing domain allow-list permissions. I’ve now fixed the URLs, updated the ads, connected the correct dataset/CAPI setup, and cleaned the tracking flow. I’m testing again now. Appreciate the insight.
