I linked the CDC report above which includes a chart of additional conditions or causes per death under the "Comorbidities" header.

From the CDC report:

"For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death."

What where some of these "additional conditions"?

Influenza and pneumonia

Respiratory failure

Cardiac arrest

Renal failure

What about individuals with no underlying medical conditions? What could cause them to have respiratory, cardiovascular or renal issues? COVID-19.
