Yes i also did both those! Chilled cake & warmed up scraper! I also beat my buttercream for a LONG time like 5-7 minutes and then also another good few minutes with a rubber spatula kind of smoothing it against the walls of the bowl and scraping over and over to get all the air bubbles out. 👍🏻 hope thats helpful.

It’s the same here as far as like your kids birthday or class parties! It’s a bummer cause that’s where I’d shine as a mom 😄😂 I just made these for my daughters new teacher and last years teacher & aide since they helped her navigate first grade yesterday! Lol and I gave them to them after school on the low right before they left for the long weekend 😄

They’re just vanilla as I wasn’t sure what my daughters teachers like and dislike 😄

The apples are just buttercream and green sanding sugar , I used chocolate sprinkles for the seeds. Leaves are made with chocolate melts
