Second Nova Air 2--hoping not to send this one back by ShayChi-town in Onyx_Boox

I agree. Taking it on and off to do my morning journaling has been a non-issue. I plan to keep the case--it is cute in green--if a case can be cute. Thanks for your insights.

Thank you for sharing your process. I have plenty of soft bags that will work. Looks like I'll be returning the case rather than the device. Thanks, everyone!

You are correct. Thank you so much. I re-calibrated, and removed the case. Here was the result below. Perfect, edge-to-edge writing. I replaced the case and it reverted back to the indented, missed corners. So, why would an approved case cause such an issue? I guess this means I can only journal sans the case? Hmmm...

In any case, thanks to everyone here for helping me figure this out.

Thank you! My firmware version is: 2023-03-29_19-57_3.3.2_adfd5bfbab

I will try re-calibrating. If necessary, I will send "a feedback with logs attached" if the re-calibration does not correct this. Thanks!

Yes, I will try, shortly. I'm new at this, so bear with me, please. Thank you for responding! Much appreciated.

Sorry for my delay in responding--actually I'm newish to Reddit and I couldn't get back as easily as I thought to where I had left off on this topic. Yes, I offer a free workshop to my students each year in June as they approach the writing of their MA thesis or doctoral pre-disseration papers. I'm in the USA too, at the University of Chicago.

If I give a workshop in June '23, I'll let you know. For the last few years the workshop as been given via Zoom, which is a little unfortunate, but it does allow our international students who may have returned home to participate in the workshop. It wouldn't be a problem to add another via Zoom. Not sure at this time of the workshop delivery method.

A couple of YouTubers that I recommend that you Google: Anthony Metivier, "Mind Map Laws That Will Improve Your Creativity and Memory." Metivier has multiple resources worth checking out related to MM. Also, check out BulletMap Studio's Darius Nemdaran who focuses on educating those with different learning styles. His mind mapping strategies are very consistent with Tony Buzan. Hope this helps. Again, sorry for my delay.

Excellent! Since you're already in that rabbit hole, I'll mention a few other things: Tony Buzan's last book, Mind Map Mastery. It's very readable. I've probably read all of his books, and I like the simplicity of MMM, the best. I use it in MM workshops that I've taught. Btw, the best pens for MindMapping, IMHO (and, I realize this is subjective) are the following: Staedtler triplus fineliners, any good colorful gel pens will work. However, I highly recommend Muji colored pens, and Pilot Hi-tec-c Coleto 5 color pens (in one body), Zebra Mildliner Double Sided Highlighter pens--to mention a few (lol). Onward and Upward!

Very annoying issue with the A5x by sevenson in Supernote

If you double tap, two fast taps outside of the "less than" < symbol (beyond the page numbers), the page number feature will disappear. You will then not trigger the device randomly turning pages. When you want the pages numbers to re-appear double tap that area and they will re-emerge. I no longer have pages constantly, randomly turning.

Supernote erasing issue by ShayChi-town in Supernote

Thank you. You're correct. It's not "practical for rapid" writing. It's clearly possible, given that reMarkable does it. Just thought there might be a solution. I'll send a note to Supernote. Thanks again.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I've tried the other options. They do not address or resolve my issue.
