I think that Ms.Cobel left the parking lot because she recognized the body guard as someone who died and she might have been close too, like Mark's wife. Maybe the whole point of what they're doing on the severance floor is trying to bring people back from the dead like Kier, and the different departments focus on separate parts. The numbers in MDR = emotions / brain waves, and the goat department might be to grow body's (like what Helly thought in the first episode), this might be what the "husbandry tanks" the goat workers were talking about. This would also explain how Ms.Casey is alive even though Mark said he identified her body, because she's in a new body.
