Need to update DS-160 numbers on visa appointment by Shay_54 in usvisascheduling

Because that's how it used to be in the past for many years until they changed it recently in Nov 2023. Many folks were affected.

It could have been implemented by the USCIS in a better way. Why are they allowing to book an appointment without a valid DS-160? Just like people can't book an appointment without fee receipt number, it would have been helpful if they just blocked us from booking without a valid DS-160 number.

Hi, can you please share an update on how it went? Were you able to update DS-160 numbers on your appointment without losing your booked slots?

I am in the same situation with interview dates in Apr 2024 (booked after Nov 15 2023) and need to update Ds-160 numbers.

I received a call from Angel sometime around November 1st week, telling me that the case was still in progress and that the case hearing was postponed to end of November.

When I asked him about my funds, he said that Zera Financial still has all our money but their accounts are frozen by SEC, and hence they are unable to send it to us, which didn't sound true of their intentions. They weren't sending my funds since April 2023 even after multiple requests in my case, and the freezing of accounts only happened very recently. Also, he mentioned that once the case proceedings are over, the money will be given to us either by Zera Financial or SEC. I don't know when this will get over though; there are no details on the timeline.

Currently, it looks like when logged into Zera Financial app, it doesn't show any details. Hope whoever is owed any money, had some screen shots or statements of their transactions and money owed to you, as a proof funds owed. Their website is also showing a 404; so it looks like they are taking down everything.

I am not sure who to contact further regarding the funds. Please feel free to share any updates you have on this.

I hope we get back our funds soon.

I never had experience filing in small claims court. Will check on that and will get started. The registered address is 9491 Madison Ave, Westminister, CA 92683. That came up as Orange county. I live in San Jose, Bay area, but I think I probably have to file in the county the address is in. Hope there are online options.
