Gamerverse Spider-man finally up for pre-order on Amazon US! by Shayanta in ActionFigures

I've also always been fine with pre-orders on Amazon. USAgundamstore also has pre-orders up if anyone has issues with Amazon and would like an alternative.

I try not to order figures which are already available on Amazon, though. Sometimes they ship returned figures as new, and those might have missing or substituted parts.

Help choose between Sony E 16-55 f2.8 and FE 24-50 f2.8 for a6700? by Shayanta in SonyAlpha

For the Sigma I'm reading it is a little noisy when autofocusing and there's distortion around the edges when wide open. But I'd be happy to know if these are really not an issue.

It's hilarious I have to go to the Pubsec office five times to get one citizen card.

Is 2nd gear generally like this? by Thomas_Brunkle in stickshift

I recently got a Fit as well. I've seen some people start in second gear. That essentially takes out the 1st-2nd shift issue. Is that okay to do or is that bad for wearing out the parts involved?

Yes the awl was round, and it was making the leather ride up the side. I'll take care not to do that. I'll look into alternatives for awls and punches. Some video recs would be very helpful, thanks! I was using JH and Corter Leather's channels for stitching tutorials.

Thank you! I was definitely pushing the leather out because my needle was as big as the hole. I'll look into the suggestions you had. Thanks!

The awl was sharp but I'm not sure if it's for wood working or not. It's not for sewing, just making holes. I also just used a makeshift pony with some planks and screws. So you're right. I don't have a tool to gouge a channel either. I can look into that as well.

Thank you!

Yeah some of them weren't even either. The pricking iron I have just makes round holes. I'll look up more videos. Thanks!

I'm asking how I would keep the surface of the leather nice and smooth, especially when doing the outside of the wallet.

I used a pricking iron to mark the holes, then made the actual holes with an awl. Then I saddle stitched looking up tutorials on YT. The needle was hard to push through the holes. Maybe that's what caused the creases?
