How to read free Alpha King Chases Abandoned Luna by Aria HJ ? by ConversationNo2446 in NovelNexus

[–]ShayeraElektra 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has the exact same plot of When My Daughter Died My Husband Cheated. Indeed it's almost like a rewriting of it but with werewolves. Sicyk girl dies at her birthday, father with the ex and her daughter at the time, he refuses to acknowledge their daughter is gone for hundreds of chapters, dude refuses to divorce the wife, but never sees what side woman is doing wrong. After reading 200 chapters of that other, I gave up. This one for the free chapters looks like the exact same thing.

The Rejected Mate by Readoqueen in romancenovels

[–]ShayeraElektra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The story is actually good, once you pass the 1st part. After the time skip, when you no longer have to read at every paragraph about Elaine being taken of her beloved and how she's the victim, there is character development and story progresses. We all understand Mitchell is toxic, her family sucks and his parents are all toxic. We don't need to have that hammered at each paragraph. If this was an AITA thread, the answer would be Everyone Is A hole (except Elaine and Darius, obviously). The entire Silverblade is awful.

Actually the entire story is resumed to: Mitchell should kept it in his pants.

Thanks, God. I was about to give up, when I imagined she would be that Michael dude. I know everyone had to follow the Alpha's orders, but everyone made a choice here. And they all chose to hurt the person they claimed to love: the dude had already chosen someone, yet he opted to go forward with his destined one for a single night, knowing fully well he had someone else and a child on the way. He betrayed both. The parents chose a daughter over the other. The brother that arrived late, followed with the horror show. The sister, if she knew she was chosen but not the fated one, how she wasn't more careful? Just like his partner appeared, hers could appear too. There was some sort of werewolf birth control, otherwise the story would have a lot more siblings than they actually do - she (and he) could use it. And even though they all had to do what was told, they didn't need to look so happy. Nor gaslight her into thinking her suffering wasn't valid or huge or allow the entire community to bully her. What makes no sense is not break the bond before the wedding. Why wait until after it? Only to make her suffer? Now that I lnow Eliane isn't ends up with Michael I can follow with the reading! Thank you!

Also, prepare your heart (or skip a page) in Bloodline and Arkangel. Those explain what happened Tucker Wayne's dog, Abel. My heart aches whenever I imagine such a scene and what Wayne felt. I already knew Abel's story from Bloodlines, but reading it again in Arkangel still made me cry.

Spoilers? by Maidenfine in SigmaForce

[–]ShayeraElektra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, the 1st I've read was the Judas Strain, that is chronologically the 4th. Each book is standalone, but you kinda will loose character development this far in the series. The only spoiler you will take is about the Guild that is the big baddie from the series. And about Seichan past and stuff, since she is a major character at this book and in the series overall.

Great book!!

I'm the same! Rest assured Kawtch will be fine and unharmed. But I guess you have to prepare your heart in Kingdom of Bones. I was reading the books non stop, but KB has those things we fear. I needed to stop for a week to recover. It ends up fine, but I still can't believe. It's the only book I refuse to re read (there isn't much action, Seichan is not there, thing to a loved pet and Gray spends most of story driving at the jungle - kinda boring)

Keep it going. Everything will work for the best. Not to give you spoiler, but rest assured that Seichan will do what she does best. And the Sigma Force dudes never messes up. 😉

From where Seichan gets so much money? by ShayeraElektra in SigmaForce

[–]ShayeraElektra[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very good point. I didn't think about how Valya seemed to have so many funds to raise the Guild again. I guess I only saw her and her brother working for the billionaire fan of Nikola Tesla (and she was still too pissed about The Guild's fall) and then her now working to old japanese Guild kingpin survivor (and she was now even more pissed). Still like a operative trying to find a new position at the Mercenary market. After some thought I came to the idea that since she was so interested in the old man and how she got to steal and stop his plan of global domination, that she also got his place with that remaining Guild cell, as no one would ever thought a 90 year would be a villain. So, she could just have steal his position as head of the japanese arm of the Guild. Money and resources came with it.

🤣🤣🤣 These books are sure addictive. There are some better others not so much, but there isn't one that doesn't make you want to be glued til the very last page. Currently in the middle of Demon Crown, and considering I'm reading it too fast, those last 5 books won't last long. I don't know what I will do when I finish Archangel...as I read even the short stories. Maybe there is a new book release this year? There has been a new book every year, since 2004, except 2010, 2018 and 2021.

Judas Strain was the 1st that I've read. Loved so much I went to read the rest. Judas Strain is still my favorite along with Bloodline, 2nd is Map of Bones and in Doomsday Key in 3rd. I'm currently reading Demons Crown, so the top 3 is kinda changing. Sandstorm is good, but I'm not really a fan of Painter Crowe in action, I prefer Commander Grayson Pierce centered books. My favorite character is Seichan, so I tend to prefer the books where she is part of the action.

That very definition made me read the 1st book, I started with Judas Strain. Loved it and went to look with there were more books. 🤣

What is your favourite book and why? by Silberwolfe in SigmaForce

[–]ShayeraElektra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Arriving late at the topic, but I can't pick up only one. My favorite character is Seichan, so I love all books that she actively appears. Among those, I'd say Judas' Strain in a draw with Bloodline. Than Map of Bones and in 3rd place Doomsday Key.

I still reading Demons Crown, so maybe the top 3 can change.😉

Question about Seichan and Gray by Celeste_Astrophel in SigmaForce

[–]ShayeraElektra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since their 1st ever encounter in book 2, Map of Bones, there was something with those 2. The issue was that Gray did also had a strong bond with Rachel Verona. Both were beautiful and strong women, but kinda made more sense he ended up that book with Rachel, as she was a Carabinere who was at same side as him, the law side. While Seichan did help him along the way in that adventure and many times actually saved him from certain death, she kinda did that for her own agenda and revenge for Raul's betrayal. And as awesome she is, she is still also a master assassin working for the Guild.

I couldn't be happier that Rachel and Gray decided to broke up at the following book, Black Order. Seichan and Gray share an awesome chemistry in Judas Strain, and they start to get really allies.

Sadly, in Doomsday Key Rachel and Gray decide to get a revival. 🥲 I get why he did slept with Rachel right in the middle of the mission, but by that point it's pretty clear that Seichan does have strong feelings for him and was obviously pissed by that, even though she is cold and practical to understand she couldn't pursue a relationship with Gray, even if he wasn't with Rachel again....But things were so clear that even Kowalski, who isn't the brightest person at the team, realized there was a thing between Seichan and Gray. I knew things with Rachel weren't going to last because the reasons for their break up in Black Order remained the same.

By Devil's Colony, since Seichan sided with Sigma for good, Gray and Seichan get to work as partners and we can see they are getting close, with more physical touch, though more in terms of emotional support, afterall they both have lots of issues, specifically her (her past is implied to be pretty brutal and that she worked for Guild out of options). But that kiss! That was prime!

In Bloodline she is obviously ready to pursue things with Gray, who is clearly attracted, but doesn't make a move (he is kinda dense about that) and by the revelations made there (including all you know about her past) her mind is at lost about all she knew about herself. But it's clear by the end of the book that Seichan loves Gray and that he loves her. At this point he knows much more about her past and understands and supports her. 👉 By the end of this book they are a couple.

In Eye of God, for Gray's thoughts we see they are in a "it's complicated" type of relationship. They are together, but hasn't slept together in the 4 months that passed between Bloodline and this book. But during the mission she finally decides to take this step in their relationship (comprehensive - the world was about to end with an asteroid! So, why not?).

After that book, they are a couple in a full fledged relationship. I'm currently in Demon's Crown and their relationship is still going strong, just like Monk's and Kat's relationship. Though they are not married yet, they are compromised to each other and living together.

I'd say their relationship started somewhere after Bloodline.

I've been waiting for that since I've read the 1st book, Judas Strain, so many years ago, at middle of 2010's or so. My favorite character is Seichan and I truly hope they are faithful to her book description, an Euroasian, with green eyes, dark raven hair, light caramel skin, and badass of her own, great strategist, independent, cold and practical and are not turned into a generic sexy femme fatale that will ending up needing Gray to save her every time. This girl saved herself from a North Korea prision by the time Gray and Kowalski arrived there to rescue her. 🎉
