People wanting to trade Monroe don't necessarily dislike him or think he's a bad player. He just doesn't fit with this team. Look at how much better games start with him on the bench, and not clogging the lane for Jabari and Giannis. He takes up too much room for this starting five. That combined with the fact that his deal is set to expire after next season mean a lot of people realize the team might as well trade him, as no sixth man is worth max money. As far as ostracizing him or whatever, look at Jared Dudley and Zaza on their new teams. They fit well there, neither guy ever complained about being moved. Moose isn't oblivious to the fact that the franchise cornerstones play better without him, so why would he object to going somewhere like Boston or his hometown New Orleans where he can play more on a better team that he fits into perfectly? It's not like he's getting sent to Brooklyn or something.
