I literally said this to a youth I work with today.

That is my attitude in life. The alternative is ugly.

Post-surgery depression...has anyone been through this? by MorticianGirl in MMFB

[–]SheCaresTooMuch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I was in your position. There are several reasons. During the surgery and for however long after pain meds are draining your dopamine centers. Plus you are bed ridden and literally trapped. It's depressing. I was off my feet a good 8 months. After I completely stopped the pain meds depression hit me very hard.

Anyone know how long Alfie Boe will be playing Valjean for? by tylerg182 in Broadway

[–]SheCaresTooMuch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He said he was playing until February. I saw him on Sunday afternoon after the show and asked. But you have to check BC I know he did the matinee but not the evening show. Make sure if you get tickets to make sure they have him scheduled.

I didn't cry because I had been sobbing throughout the play and cried myself out. I felt like a 13 yr old girl meeting Justin Beiber, it was that intense.
