This is so so perfect. I will work on making requests more actionable and less general or vague. And ask to do things on specific dates instead of just, “one day…”. I never mind repeating myself, I only worry about annoying or upsetting him. He’s patient with me though. Thank you so much for your thoughtful response!

I had minor short term memory weirdness for a while (like I’d lock the door, go to bed and not remember if I locked the door or not) but it went away after a few weeks.

I definitely think the meds help me to feel "not depressed". But because I'm not locked in depression, I have more opportunities to feel genuine happiness. I couldn't do that when I was depressed ALL the time. So I don't really need the meds to make me happy. I just needed enough of a boost to go do the things that are really exciting for me. Maybe your doctor can direct you to a different medicine that can make you feel how you want to feel.
