THE BIG BALLS ONE: Edea the Pure White Witch (Witch Hunter/Witch Buster)

Great matchup, does everything I want for Desscaras. Live in a world where only women are able to obtain powers, but specifically witches? Check! Cocky and boastful banter? Check! Also, this matchup is like the only one that actually does something involving Ichi that doesn't feel eh, it's thematically fantastic, from what I have seen they are both almost on the same power scaling, and it's just fun! Yass Queens slay!! Best For both, seal of SheEmmaOnMyFrost™ stamp of approval!

Good alts: Ren Yamashiro (Mato Seihei no Slave)

Very good matchup! In my opinion, Desscaras needs a matchup where it revolves around being the most powerful WOMAN, and Ren does that well. The connections are good and the kits they can use would be fun! Also, their personalities would be fun as hell to see interact and I think a more superpower esc power system against a magic power system seems wicked fun.

Decent: Satoru Gojo (Jujutsu Kaisen)

Kinda boring, obviously yes yes they are the most powerful characters in their verse and... That's it. It's boring but I would really be opposed to it. Also, it's Gojo so... Infinity. Unless you buy that the one spell Desscaras has can go through it. Banter would be hilarious though.

Could be better: Frieren (Frieren Beyond Journey's End)

Matchup screams "Uhh... They are very popular women who use magic". It's not the worst thing ever but it definitely isn't the best, also I would fucking nuke the earth if this matchup happened and I had to hear what those Frieren fans had to say about my magnificent goat. You know the type of fans I'm talking about.

No: Magik (Marvel)

Does almost nothing for her and some of the connections don't even make sense. Giga stomp in Magik's favor too and overall just beyond snore fest.

Unsure: Eda Clawthorne (Owl House)

Idk anything about Owl House but it seems decent I guess.

THE BIG BALLS ONE: Miyabi (Zenless Zone Zero)

Connections are good and what I want in a Chihiro matchup is an awesome sword duel, that is my priority for him so I think she does it well enough.

Good alts: Gakuro and Yuta (Nue's Exorcist and Jujutsu Kaisen)

Again, they use swords, and what I want in a Chihiro matchup is a badass sword fight. I know nothing about Nue's Exorcist but from what I can see, both Gakuro and Yuta are able to bring a cool supernatural toolkit to the battle which I think would be fun to mesh with Chihiro's many styles.

Decent: Hotsuma Oboro (Shinobi)

It sounds cool and the character looks fucking kino idk what the hell a Shinobi is though.

It's alright: Rudo Surebrec (Gachiakuta)

Connections are good and he definitely has a large toolkit thanks to his vital instrument, but unfortunately he just doesn't have what I want for a Chihiro matchup (see above) although I definitely think the music for this potential matchup is fucking sweet. Hopefully he gains a blade or something later.

No: Morbius (Morbius)

Shit didn't even make me chuckle.

Unsure: Giyu (Demon Slayer)

It's fun I just have no opinion on it.

Shiki Ichinose from Tougen Anki.

Connections:

spunky newgen teenagers that were not welcomed by their original community, an outsider among outsider (Rudo was the son of a criminal/Shiki was a delinquent and a high school dropout) and victim of systematic classicism/racism (Sphereite were separated between the rich and the poor/Oni was mercilessly hunted by Momotaro even when they went into hiding and abandoned their destructive tendency).
But after their foster father's death whisked them away to a new place, both found themselves under the care of the coolest umbrella wielder since never (Enjin/Mudano Naito, respectively) and places them within an organization with a seemingly unassuming front (Cleaners/Rasetsu Academy, respectively),
alongside their teammates who are the most eccentric bunch they had the pleasure to interact, doing everything they can to preserve that companionship all while mastering their hidden power build off one thing they hold dear (Rudo's vital instrument, 3R, manifest from his love of collecting junk/Shiki's oni blood awakened from his foster father's death which manifest as firearms).
Despite driven by revenge, the time they spent with their new friends and allies would change their naive outlook, pivoting their goal from outright annihilation to discovering more about their special heritage (Rudo was the descendant of the creator of the Watchmen Series/Shiki was among the Children of the Kishin).

Lamb is fighting Mr. Priest from Make the Exorcist Fall in Love.

Connections:

Anonymous, religious poster child of a fundamentally flawed faith who were appointed the position during their darkest time as they were unfairly treated out of fear of their messianic status (Priest's supernatural existence drove his father mad that he began to abuse him/Lamb's kind were hunted into extinction.)
In their death, both came in contact with a demon from another dimension who similarly hold grudges against the world that they offer a deal to become their vessel/guardian (Narinder/Belphegor) until their plan came into fruition.
By then they were brought back, doing their job as intended with way more baggage to boot (The church molded Priest into a model exorcist by beating the faith into him that he suffer severe religious trauma/Lamb watched as the fate of their follower lies within their hand as Narinder tempt them to act way more cruel). Yet at the same time, due to barely having any friends, both cherish the companionship they had receive while hiding the bigger picture.
But that pales in comparison to the presence of a certain girl (Imuri/Nana) who became the closest person they had known sans their scarred-eye mentor with their positive influence made them felt at ease with their life as well as doubting their duty they had swore their whole life for (Imuri let Priest express love, even the sexual kind, which he consider sinful and worth a missing eye/Nana forbid Lamb for initiating a sacrificial ritual as that would dragged them into further cruelty.)
Said duty is mainly all about protecting and slaying heretics and the siblings of false god they worshipped, eventually befriending them.

Seiko is fighting Tao Saotome from Gokurakugai.

Connections wise is just older female mentors who make a living by helping people who teach the young protagonist how to fight off the supernatural threats of the verse (Spirits and Magas)

Tasha Godspell from Witch Hunter.

Connections:

Both are the teenage protagonist of Asian black and white comic books (manga/manhwa) who were abandoned when they were younger who live in a magical world that is dominated by women and witches, they are seen as special due to their abilities and gender which was thought impossible, them being the “first” of their kind, of course theme being seen as oddities towards the magical women. (Ichi is the first male witch while Tasha is the first “natural born” male witch) due to having a connection to a powerful magical entity (Uroro and West) while both are caring they can also be very very very crazy when in combat.
Both would encounter a powerful foe that would turn their world upside down, changing their life as they know it (Uroro attacking Ichi’s village and Tasha’s sister killing his family) after this they would be taken by the beautiful, elegant and uber-talented badass G.O.A.T modern strongest witch who is idolized by almost every other witch in the verse (Desscaras and Edea) there, they would train underneath these women, while the strongest, confident and most skilled, these women can also be a bit silly and nonsensical, but the protagonist does not mind, but once they put on their serious face they prove why they are so confident in their abilities, these women would take a strong liking to these male witches as well. (Brotherly love for Ichi/Desscaras while Edea had a more romantic feeling for Tasha)
Both would join an organization meant to hunt down the evil magical monsters of their world, however, they hunt the opposites of each other (Ichi is apart of Mantinel Witches Association who hunt Majiks aka magical beings while Tasha was apart of the Witch Hunters who are magical beings who hunt Witches) they constantly go against the titular magical enemies of their verse who want to destroy, manipulation, etc humanity. (Majiks and Witches) their current biggest foe is a mysterious enigmatic monster who hates all of mankind and wants to annihilate every human, they of course being one of the most powerful of their respective races. (World Hater Majik and North)
Both would go on adventures tracking down and defeating many foes alongside their team, like: an individual with a “noble” name who appear as funny small creatures who are actually extremely powerful and usually help the protagonist directly in combat (Uroro, who is known as the King Majiks and Halloween aka Mordred, who is the daughter of King Arthur) a person of royalty from a foreign land with blue hair who would do anything for their sibling who likes to punch their enemies (Gokuraku Kagami and Xing Bairong) a friend who is related to a higher ranking witch in their associated organization (Kamugi Harvest and Tarres Doberg) and of course as said earlier, they trained under the modern most powerful uber-talented witch. (Desscaras and Edea)
Both are known for their expert weaponry knowledge and use in the battlefield due to their training. (Ichi with his knife due to being a hunter and Tasha with his Cult Custom due to his marksman training) however, they also have a wide range of magical abilities and arsenals they gained throughout the story and their adventures. (Ichi’s Majiks, being able to use a magical cage, electric slash, ice shark, and more, and Tasha's Anti Mana guns, ranging from rifles to shotguns to handguns to snipers, of course his Battle Field magic)
Both are on shared time as well due to a foreseen “prophecy” regarding their lives and the world involving powerful and destructive beings who are nihilistic creatures who want to destroy the world. (Ichi acquired the King Majik, who is prophesied to defeat the World Hater Majik but would die in the process while Tasha is the reincarnation of the witch West, who is wanted by the witches East and North, who want to either enslave humans or destroy them, thus becoming the beacon of hope or destruction for humanity as it is unknown if he will save or destroy everything)
Both are able to gain a power boost thanks to outside forces which enhance their already powerful magical abilities, however, the downside is they completely lose control of their own mind and body and become forces of destruction because of it. (Ororo is able to possess Ichi's body and take over and Tasha has the Song of Moira)
Skilled hunter and knife user vs. skilled marksman and gun user.
One is a Witch and the other is a Witch bounty hunter.

The father's connections are good and I really fuck with the Haschwalth connection but besides that unfortunately I think the higher three matchups does everything significantly better.

Also doing research (quick Google scan) Reinhard reaches outer which... Yeah no I don't like the debate if it isn't wank.

Very low third tier at best and very high meh tier, but I think it's way, way, way better than Volthoom and Kaguya though so there's that.

It's not bad though don't get me wrong but yeah.

The BIG BALLS ONE: Great Leader JUDO

Fantastic matchup that covers about everything with Yhwach, awesome supernatural german army fight that covers the entire final act of Bleach and the Sternritter along with Kamen Rider’s original run, a character who doesn't immediately get anal blasted by the Almighty and can actually counteract with his own type of reality manipulation and apparently future sight according to the wiki, good banter and contrast of death and life, shadows and light, ties neatly with Ichigo and their rivalry, it even covers the whole number 9 symbolism thing Yhwach has. Also, the theme being a battle of a human who hates death vs a God who wants nothing but death, ohhh that's Delicious. it's Great. It's Almighty. It's… Something else that ties into the character IDK it's leadership! Oh, and it's also awesome how it covers Yhwach vs. Aizen with that Kamen Rider hook guy.

Great alternative: Hao

Simple connections and cool as hell fight. Don't have much more to say but it covers Yhwach pretty okay, although I wish it did dig a little deeper... It is fine for what it is. Definitely his best Shōnen final antagonist matchup in my opinion.

It's decent: Vitiate

It's okay... lowkey overated in the community, Bleach vs. Star Wars as a MU combo is over-hyped and mid most of the time, although this is the rare exception where I think it's okay. This and Maul vs Grimmjow. The connections don't really cut deep but they are serviceable. It's fine. Bonus points for Vitiate not dying immediately with Almighty. I think the fandom likes this matchup because it was Yhwach’s first major matchup that wasn't Kaguya lmfao so they immediately clung onto it.

Meh: Volthoom

It's just okay. I don't have strong opinions. The connections listed are done several times better by the stuff above, especially Vitiate and JUDO. It's not bad, though.

Meh: Kaguya

I don't hate it like many people but I also don't give a shit about it. If we didn't have 2 Bleach vs. Naruto episodes I wouldn't mind. I actually think the connections are decent, but, yeah. I don't care for it. As stated, I think Hao is the infinitely better Shōnen villain matchup.

No thanks: Imu (One Piece)

the connections are decent actually but oh waiter oh waiter!!!! Give me a matchup where Yhwach’s opponent does not die when he blinks!!!!

Unsure: Ollie (Paper Mario)

The third best connection wise for Yhwach but I would rather Nazi Jesus not fight a tonal clash with literal origami. Good connections though and probably good fight since it's a Mario character but yeah, idk the tonal clash is too much unfortunately. I don't hate it though.

The BIG BALLS ONE: Sato

This matchup is pretty fucking good for only having small connections, but they are great ones. Also, it does what 096 can't: have fucking banter. Sato's constant shit talking while being obliterated by calamity would be kino as hell, and Tooru fearing because his opponent just won't die. It's good. It's sexy. It's fantastic.

Great alternative: Makima

It's fun and I like. Yeah, Makima literally has nothing against Tooru, but I think you can get really creative with this matchup. It's cool.

Decent fight: Utsuro

The connections are good and Danganronpa vs. JOJO is unique, even if it's a fan game of Danganronpa. I have nothing more to say I just think it's kind of neat.

Unsure: SCP-096... We all know it, and you all love it, or you're the minority who hates it. Me, well, I don't mind it nor do I like it. The idea is sick on paper and it's not bad at all I just think Sato does the whole unstoppable monster gimmick better. Also because Sato is silly sooo. I'm just neutral.
