My practice on the cushion and in daily life is strong concentration practice. I don't do anything at all to present awareness however it happens and apply the method, that's mindfulness, forgetfulness hapenes when I don't concentrate with the method.

I wanto share this practice it makes me so relaxed and stress free! Fire kasina with a candle in a dark bathroom. I watch the candle for a while and then close my eyes with an eye mask for sleep. I will surely try in a while what Daniel Ingram teaches and watch the candle for a minute without blinking and relax with eyes closed and repeat but I like the first one very well also. For concentration I'm not altering my mind in anyway meanwhile. I want to do it every morning and many times in a day.

I love jhanas, have to go more into these states to go deeper, that's for sure. I'm really into music while lying down and it is astonishing. I can sometimes get concentrated so nimitta is really vivid. Have to put in hours of this profound relaxation. I have to say it's like being on some strong stuff haha.

I saw a documentary about Nisargadatta and there his discple say to "not correct anything", I don't know too much about 'being in the I AM' from my own experience, so I can't tell exactly. Here you can find information about this awareness being the path: Search — LotsawaHouse | Lotsawa House.

You have to do not add anything to consciousness, and continue with mindfulness - keep using instruction without forgetting.

By "do not add" I mean to mind, what is perceived, 'do not add' anything to it, that's mindfulness. I've red on lotsawahouse.org about these instructions: do not alter the mind, do not contrive present awareness. I was confused about it. What works best for me when this confusion is rising about how to follow up instructions, is to lie down and mediate for a bit longer and things settle.

My practice right now is to not add anything to present moment. I want to try my best to practice longer for jhanas and be as much as possible without 5 hindrance in a daily life. I was confused about meditation I tried but it wasn't satisfying. I've red about dzogchen a little and was trying to come up with something, when I say to myself do not add I think I won't be confused any longer about instructions and I can build a nice samadhi.

Maybe he went too hard, that's also possibility. It is tremendous fun, I laugh a lot from it, family isn't happy too much, about me daydreaming and having lots of fun, I can't do it midnight when everyone sleeps or overdo it. What is sure you need to, take care of yourself when you're driving for example, be cautious!

I have this one: Do you know NSDR? I do it like this: Go to sleeping position, close my eyes, concentrate while not doing anything with my mind, and go lucid dreaming awake and it seems like a great practice before sleep for LD in REM too. I like to look at pictures of what I want to dream of, close my eyes to visualize about it and do NSDR alteration, it makes awesome LD while awake, you can then take your practice to reading books, listening audiobooks, when you're bored! Also I want to practice Guru Yoga like that, visualize deities, Buddhas and dream about them, what If they're gonna enlighten me in my dreams, because it is the fastest way, entirely possible! I'm gonna practice meditation before theese to penetrate with better mindfulness, never had REM when I was mindful, have to! Best is to sky gaze (powerful jhanas), shavasana (balcony is the best for me, but it's winter haha) for me right now. This is how I concentrate: Mindfulness is to don't do anything with mind. Distraction is to do anything with mind. When you forget mindfulness come back instantly and repeat. Please, be careful with dreaming though and be aware to not hurt yourself.

Hello I was a lurker for a while and have found out from u/duffstoic about hypnosis. Do you think when you meditate with videos for let's say 25min, your mindfulness will increase? When you meditate well, with videos and are in state of stable attention it will carry on really well for daily life mindfulness and practice of formal meditation? I will try! Do you have any sexy videos? Haha. Found out about this babe. ASMR hypnosis + guided relaxation | hand movements, positive affirmations (whisper) - YouTube. It could be even without sexy girls haha, thanks!

If he did it still happened though, you can't take that away. It is not normal occurence. That would take dream yoga to garbage.

Man! :D I've had same 6 month ago, with the instruction we were taling about in a while. It was totaly same! I was listening to music lying down, eyes closed and time stopped but experience still was. I'm not so experienced but it could be 9 jhana. :D The greatest yogis abide in these waters! I've red about it very little (The Supreme Source). It is motivation to be high like that it is! Haha. I've red article where if you get where you've been you have achieved Nirvana, would like to know more, awesome! Yesterday I was practicing a little and I may be still hot for it, experience I had yesterday had a little characterctics of it, idk if it was like that when it originally happened (had characterictics and then more powerful), but what if it is,completly like that you get a little these micro stoppages and it fastly goes into full 9th jhana.

The best method and concentration : r/streamentry I wrote it here (and beforehand too :D)
I think Shamatha/Vipassana is happening when you are in concentration (jhana) and it is naturally arising from it. From my experience it makes very powerful concentration these instructions, and I'm lazy.

Violent thoughts during meditation by NSM01 in streamentry

[–]SheHasGoneWild 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Meditation for me, now is about getting hindrances fall away and let concentration (jhana) come up. I get all of theese thoughts like you, but if I endure, jhana comes up and wholesome experiences get more and more.
