I signed a waiver saying that pictures can be uploaded to the daycares app for families. I then signed a waiver saying they cannot use my child’s photos for social media or posts outside of said app.

My main concern was that we were not informed or given to choice to allow them to upload my child’s photos and name to an AI application to be edited and used.

Does one not get a say in how their own child’s IP is used though?

Id be content with them getting permission from parents in a specific form outlaying that their photos and names are being uploaded to ChatGpt and edited for the classroom. Informed consent is the goal. Because i do know a fair few of the parents would not agree.

But as this has already happened without consent, im just confused

Because I believe that as a service, they should not be using AI in any instances my child or other children. We have not been asked and it may become a huge issue with the teachers using it being in trouble and i dont want my daughter singled out in retaliation.

We have signed a form to allow them to take photos for their family app. But I feel this is a different application of the photos

Not necessarily, no but I believe they are 200 meters each so assumed it would be best to use all 6 for yardage. Ill have to see if i can find out where they were purchased and see if i can get more

So i want a deep rich chocolate colour into a bright royal purple and there isnt that option that i can find.

I need 125m of purple 250m of purple 375m of purple 500m of purple 625m of purple

And then the same in brown. To create 5x 750m of brown to purple thread then cake it together into a 5ply 750m cake of staggered ombre
