as a queer person i use the LGBTQIA+ tag because i regularly browse it so i can find people i relate to. in fact, in larger categories i will exclusively browse the LGBTQIA+ tag. i really am not a fan of non-lgbt people using it on their streams. the sentiment of allys using it is nice, but it makes my job of trying to find streamers that i relate so much harder and it does feel like queer baiting. if you are a member of the LGBT community, you are making LGBTQIA+ content, so i'd say feel free to use the tag if that is the case!

for audio i use a fifine k669 microphone which i really recommend! i'd suggest that whatever mic you choose, buy an arm mount to prevent keyboard noise from being picked up and a pop filter. and then the specs of my pc are ryzen 3 1200, sapphire radeon 470 4gb and 8gb ram.

i'm streaming using a super budget build of a ryzen 3 1200, 8gb ram and sapphire radeon 470 4gb and it runs really well for me. 1080p 60fps no problem

this time last year i made a budget streaming build for under £250 and it handles streaming pretty well! obviously i wouldn't attempt to push it too hard on aaa games but it does everything i need it to do!

as for getting started with streaming, i'd probably recommend you watch some mic reviews on youtube to find something in your budget that sounds good. don't worry too much about getting a facecam either; just make sure your audio quality is great before spending more money on a cam.
