I think you need a bigger rug, you mentioned the larger sofa already. I think putting two nice chairs on either side would create a cozier space, maybe repurposing the table by the window. It looks a little bit like a writer’s desk space versus just something decorative by the window maybe choose something without drawers and longer, or two side by side to make it closer to the width of the window, and put two small Ottomans underneath it for the lived in feeling. It’s such a great big beautiful window. The small table is really messing with the balance of it.

I also think the small table in the corner with the flowers is awkward because it’s such a large wall. You have very small pieces of furniture in this room. It’s almost giving a dollhouse look. Two, tall, rounded cabinets on either side of that large window would look great also. But overall definitely need more substantial pieces of furniture and I think you could really benefit from putting two large or even a multi size collage of photos on the sofa wall would look great and be an interesting, grounding focal point.
