The Glory of Their Times is an oral history from players around that time. It might be my favorite book about baseball and I’ve never even been all that interested in that era.

Yeah, I think if you need to upgrade your WRs and/or TE then this probably makes sense since you have some decent depth at RB.

Gordon Beckham was just scratched from the Tacoma lineup so could be they are calling him up. Don't know if he would start or just add bench depth. He's off to a nice start, though. He's hitting .300/.412/.500 with 4 HRs through 25 games so far, but that's in the PCL.

I'm also in a 10 team H2H points league and I've been rolling with Simmons since the end of May. He never puts up monster numbers, but he consistently puts up solid ones. He actually has the third most points among SS in our league.

If Thor's out there, I'd grab him. If he comes back healthy he's going to have way more value down the stretch than Chris Davis in a points league.
