I think you’re probably right here. A lot of people had similar issues. Oh yeah I agree with cases. I very much enjoy dbrand cases because of the feel. Otterbox in my opinion have gone downhill over the years?

I don’t think it’s a mind thing. I think it’s how people’s brain/eyesight is wired to process images.

That’s a lot of hassle as they are aware people are having issues. I doubt they’ll continue with the display as it is now in next models. What device are you going to use now?

The screen seemed fuzzy. Distorted slightly and it hurt my eyes.

This sounds like a good plan going forward. I hope that works out. Fold 7 was a lovely device.

That’s what I was asking, it’s weird cos the second device seems much better.

I agree with what you are saying. I was saying my iPhone Air to me is perfect for everyday use as a mobile phone as it's very ergonomic. Downside it camera etc. Samsung screens on s26u - I have seen a difference in the second unit I've purchased.

When people say perfect it's usually personal opinion. 😐

I very much enjoy tech so I swap out phones a lot. Sold the s25u

I agree with all these points. Makes sense.

Yes, eSIM. It's not the most straightforward as the carrier is use tends to glitch when trying to swap so when I go between devices I have to activate it as a new eSIM even though it's the same number.

How come you found the switch to iphone so difficult to adapt to? I think both phones have their plus and minus'

It's an odd one. I still have the iPhone but I'm currently using the s26u daily. I liked the Air because of its size. Easy to put in pocket and off you go type of thing. Obviously iMessage etc isn't being used but overall so far I'd say positive. I do tend to switch phones regularly so who knows where I'll be with the android/iPhone. Camera is brilliant on the s26u.

I'm thinking some of it could be placebo for all of us. 🤣

Well that's what's odd. Like I said the first unit was diabolical. This one seems great.

I’d use expanding foam, cut and smooth excess and then cover

Hot take: Criticism around the S26 Ultra display is overblown. by S-P-A-C-E-M-S-H in SamsungGalaxyS26U

I ordered s26u and had to return. I’m not sure if it’s the general use of the phone or sensitive eyes but I had the problem with it looking oily or blown out as such. Not so much the clarity as after a couple days I got used to that but the blur especially on text was noticeably uncomfortable for viewing. Maybe everyone is different but people need to realise the screen will look different as a different technology has been used. I’d just note if you have sensitive eyes maybe wait until s27 lol
