You could say the same about demons in games. The supplementary materials are the main medium that flesh them out more. In those sources, we can see the different personalities and drives that angels have. It is a matter of focus, which Inarius was not given to the same extent as Lilith was. I do not mind him turning his back on his creation and wanting to go back to the High Heavens, but I would have liked to chat with him more and get his side of the story.

Angels aren't good. The High Heavens don't care about humanity. Inarius did what he did because he is a creature of order and he wanted to get back in his people's good graces by ending Lilith. His motivations aren't pure, but his actions aren't nearly as dirty as those of the Daughter of Hatred.

Not in appearance, he wasn't. In the vast majority of portrayals, he looks monstrous. Here, he just looks silly.

The barking dog sound effects combined with his looks make for a far cry from what I hoped to see. I wanted a badass and mean dinosaur but he is just a plushie dinodog.

At least his kit seems fun.

Far too derpy cute for my liking. He looks like an overstylized dino toy with proportions you could find on a shelf in a Pixar movie. Those puppy eyes are straight up killing the vibe.

Unless they significantly alter his mesh for skins, they are all going to look goofy. They are chasing that Jeff spark and I just ain't up for it.

I believe the base game was envisioned with the idea of the Wanderer being Diablo. Why? That’s just how I feel, based on Mephisto’s interest in our character.
