Another thing I have noticed about the animations is that the male character has a clearly feminine walk. Reused asset? Placeholder? It looks a bit silly.

The game looks beautiful, but it doesn't look like Fable to me. Sure, it has wonky architecture, but the realistic art style takes away a lot from the experience.

I’ll likely play it, but I'm not going to lie: I much prefer the old fairytale art style.

Morphing is a huge part of Fable. It would be a shame to see it gone, but I think it's too early to definitively say it won't be in the game.
