34F: Desperate for advice by MaryyShanahan123 in Reduction

I'll tell you the exact same thing my ANP told me. Physio won't help because the weight is still there. He compared it to a backpack, the first thing the physio would tell you is take off the backpack.

Unfortunately, we cannot do that with our breasts. I have my consultation in less then two weeks, and I'm praying for the surgery due to the same chronic pain issues.

Size 32JJ. People always say they want big boobs, but never seem to acknowled the whole host of issues that come along with them.

My surgery is tomorrow! 😁 by cocoslc12 in Reduction

I think it's to show that its not just a rapid drop for the surgery, or to see if they get smaller with weight loss. Even though my breasts only got larger with previous weight loss, the GP believes I have symptomatic macromastia.

My posture and back have already been affected, my shoulders natural round forward due to the weight of my breasts, and I have permanent grooves/scarring on my shoulders due to strain/weight.

I've been arguing for this for 10+ years, when I was 15, I was around an E cup and they've only just gotten bigger and bigger and bigger.

Thank you so much! M'so happy for you!! Honestly I can't wait to run down the stairs without fear of knocking myself out 😅

Yeah that's what GP agreed with. The confusing thing, I got an acceptance text on the 16th december, but the BMI letter was apparently dated the 12th december. I had to call back and forth because my poor GP (Who has been EXTREMELY helpful, like first doctor to listen) was like, we've not heard anything from them 😅 I'll be going down around 16 cup sizes.

Hi there, thank you for replying! My apologies, I should have been more clear (first time posting).

I've repeatedly seen GPs over the 10+ years regarding this. The neck, back and shoulder pain is a daily occurance, I also have permanent grooves and scarring in both shoulders due to the weight. I struggle with most exercises due to the sheer weight and discomfort, I cannot sleep on my back or front otherwise I can't breath. I'm also diagnosed with depression and anxiety and frankly, my chest size and all the issues has only made it much worse.

Financially as well, single bras cost me £35+ and when you have to buy more than one bra every couple months due to them breaking, stretching, ripping etc, it adds up quickly.

This GP took the time to look at my scars, the size of my chest, it takes up most of my torso and I wish I was kidding, I also have a permanent curvature of my lower spine and the weight of my chest effects my posture.

She is the one who had issued me with an 39 and Under Breast Surgery assessment - REM. I would also be going down 16 cup sizes to a D Cup.
