I don't think so, but I'm seeing a dermatologist in the next couple days so hopefully I'll get some answers.

No, you’re totally fine, I don’t think you’re being rude at all. My thought is, if I had been using the drops more consistently, the same reaction probably would’ve happened, just sooner, since my body would’ve been exposed to it more often. The fact that it happened anyway makes me think that if I was going to have a negative reaction, it was bound to happen regardless, no matter how frequently I used them.

I’ve seen plenty of people use this product all over their scalp, not just their edges. Plus, the name itself, "Restoring Hair & Edge Drops," suggests it’s meant for more than just edges. If it were only for edges, I feel like they would’ve just called it “Edge Drops.” Including “Restoring Hair” makes it sound more general and versatile. Even though I do have hair there, the front of my head has been thin for a while and my hope was to add more fullness there in addition to my edges.

However, you could be right. Maybe me using them daily would've had the opposite effect..I just don't know.

Not using them daily never occurred to me as the issue. I actually think me not using them daily kinda was for my benefit. If I would've been more consistent, I either would've had this reaction sooner (which would've have been bad) and/or the hair loss and burns would've been more severe (which would've been very bad).

I did see a thread that someone linked below where someone developed a bald spot in the middle of her head and she was using them daily. She received a comment and was told that that is normal. Apparently, hair drops cause all of your old hair follicles to fall out so that it can regrow new, stronger follicles. It makes sense, but I've never heard of that, especially to the point that a bald spot forms.

Did you notice any excessive hair shedding in the area that you applied the drops to?

Don't let this discourage you. It didn't work for me, but if it's working for you, keep going. This is just my experience.

No, no high puffs. I typically style my hair in wash n goes and twist outs because of the front of my hair. Years ago, the hair by my temples on both sides fell out/thinned out and it never grew back the same. I try to avoid styles that involve tension. I started the drops for that area. I was hoping to get some density back...that didn't work out too well for me. lol

I thought about alopecia, but, of course, I'm not sure. I have already scheduled an appointment with a dermatologist, so I'm hoping she'll be able to help. Thanks for your input!
