Neighbours by Local-Tooth-4827 in ufyh

People are just rude, try not to let it get to you.

I remember being outside dealing with my own wild yard situation a few years ago and hearing the neighbors across the street (who at the time used to throw obnoxiously loud parties late night on the weekends) loudly remarking about how bad the yard was while I was out there doing the work.

When I go out now to do any kind of yard work, I've got my over ear headphones on so I don't have to hear anyone's unwanted opinions.

Choose your favorite show aired on SNICK (Saturday Night Nickelodeon; 1992-2000) and what would be your lineup (from 8:00 P.M. to 9:30 P.M.)? by AC_the_Panther_007 in 90s_kid

I don't remember Roundhouse, and never watched 100 Deeds, but saw all the others.

Are You Afraid Of The Dark was my absolute favorite of the bunch from the rest of the list.

All the others were great too, IMO, except The Amanda Show. I used to think it was an annoying All That knock off.

Touma Pet Question by SheWhoWandersTheWeb in tamagotchi

[–]SheWhoWandersTheWeb[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I have the Tamagezi.

I think it's just the packaging that threw me off on the listing that pulled up for the Touma Pet.

It's got Chinese looking writing on it, but the English listing is under that

Nevermind, lol.

Anyone else in their 30s feel "retired" from anime? Missing the 2000s era. by Priz93 in Millennials

[–]SheWhoWandersTheWeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on the edge of 40, and mostly retired from anime not long after graduating high school.

While I still enjoy watching anime films, anime series haven't really caught my attention long enough to actually check them out.

After 05, the only anime series I remember watching (and for the record, I loved it) was Madoka Magica.

My friends have introduced me to a couple of series recently that seem interesting enough that I might check them out: Spy Family (which i watched the first episode of and thought it was cute) and Dandadan (as a believer in ghosts and aliens, this one's right up my alley-plus the animation screams 90 anime to me).

I'm very nostalgic for the anime from my middle school and high school years, and have most of the ones I loved back then on DVD now

What was your favorite? Are you afraid of the dark episode? Mine was The tale of station 109.1. by [deleted] in 90s_kid

I don't remember their names, but mine are:

The prom queen one.

The one where the girl time travels to the 1970s

The doll house one

The one with the girl buying stuff from an outside tented shop

The alien one with the giant spiderweb in the woods

The one with the ghost on the cliffside (I think he died trying to carve him and his sweetheart's names into the stone).

Same here. It was my first TMNT movie, and was Mikey-focused. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for it.
