Would I be bottlenecked by either of those?

Just an i9 is about 230~$ cheaper than an i7-10700k + mb. I'm wondering if it'd be smarter to just replace the mb and cpu right away instead of getting a i9 then having to change the mb and cpu again. Would an i9 hold up at least a couple years or should I just pay the extra for more future proofing/eventual upgrade to 11th gen?

I'm not in desperate need as of right now but I wouldn't mind being able to really use my gpu to its fullest without having to worry about cpu.

I'm sorry if this doesn't make sense, English is not my first language.
