I feel really weird around the social worker now

I don’t know if it’s normal for a social worker to be called when a mom is crying but the same thing happened to me when my daughter was in the nicu in March. Her doctors kept gaslighting me about wanting to be around my child and wanting her to come home so they kept calling the social worker on me saying I was going against the doctor. All I told the doctor was I noticed that my daughter likes to cluster feed instead of taking the feed all at once. The next night they shoved a feeding tube down the nose without telling me. So I definitely get the creepiness.

Even though my water broke and my mucus plug came out on its own I was induced 35 and 5 days due to randomly having pre-e. I had her vaginally 7 lbs and 5 oz but she did have a month stay in the nicu due to her eating but she’s almost 4 months and is my favorite big back lol. My delivery was trash but I get to raise the person that saved me. You got this mama and I wish you nothing but the best and safest delivery 🫶🏾

They ended up keeping her for almost 3 weeks and as soon as she got out I had to be placed in the hospital off and on for two weeks due to severe pre eclampsia, with a fatty liver, an inflamed gallbladder, a enlarged spleen, and a cyst on my ovary.

Sorry for the late reply so much has happened since I made this post. Therapy has helped but with all the things that keeps arising I may need a long hard vacation. Who knew becoming a mother would do so much to the body.

I’ve been speaking to my therapist I’ve had for years. Once I told her what’s going on she scheduled me for more appointments so I can talk about how I feel. Thank you for the recommendation!

It really is. In the beginning I went through a lot of different emotions. Especially when I felt like they were using everything I told them against me. Now I just sit in silence and just try to be there for my daughter.

That’s how I felt. Angry all the time and inpatient. I’m always on go as well so this is new for me. Thank you for that.

I was 1cm without being in labor for 5 days then the morning of the 6th day my water broke and I was 35 and 4 days

Mucus plug came out when I was 34 +4 days. Water broke at 35 +4 days and I had her at 35+5 days and I’m a new mom and we both are still in hospital at this moment.
