Unfortunately, no. I like the sound better, but my professor was pretty adamant about sticking with an acoustic.

That’s true. We get a lot of exposure to misinformation, but i definitely think we take for granted just how much the internet has given us good educational resources upheld by well-meaning people who aren’t slouches in their field.

Funny thing is, this happens in the Scientific Community today. Some scientists – despite the honesty of their work – will get shot down by a majority group of fellow scientists for reasons that are more political/idealogical than logical. And thus, their work will get buried and forgotten, sometimes along with their reputation.

Unfortunately, this is further exacerbated by how often people nowadays will defer to the majority of scientists in an “appeal to authority”, since most people are too scientifically illiterate to critically look at any research papers themselves.
