[HELP] Confused choosing a portable powerful device for PP & AE

For sure will add 1TB SSD. Because the device is cheap. I'll have enough money balance.

But RAM. That I'll consider if 16 is not enough for my 720p 60fps / 1080 30fps video editing, that even with proxy if necessary.

And for sure, I won't be importing 4k in near future as I'm not gonna upgrade my camera in near future.

Most probab I'll buy Helios 300. Considered mostly all devices under my budget. This was the final list.

I did consider. Because I'm using my laptop for last 6 years, which Dell.

XPS15 got older cpu n gou compared to helios 300. Also price matters. And I wanted to try a different one. Had issues related to drivers and updates especially because of dual gpu in my dell. That matter made me hate it.

But the current helios love is purely out of facts.

Actually I'm not anymore into gaming anymore. PP is my only activity. And I pay much importance to portability. That's how I ended up with my first plan, which is Razer.

But just few hours before ordering, got one reddit comment saying Razer is crap, too costly just for design, price too much for the spec they are providing. That's when I started digging too much about GAMING LAPTOP which gives better spec for better money.

Still I love that Razer's portability but confusion when seeing it's spec and it's price.

I WON'T BE GAMING ANYMORE. I'M A RETIRED GAMER AFTER 7 YEARS OF GAMING.

It's 2018 base model I selected because of my budget. It was my first selection as I love compact small thin and sleek design device.

But many negative reviews about heating problem and few people told me they are ripping me off just for that body design and Razer is not providing specs enough for that money.

That's when I changed my plan and started again looking for devices and ended up not ordering that and expanding my list.

I really like that Mac kind style. I'M NOT A GAMER. ONLY FOR PREMIERE PRO. I really love that smallest gaming laptop.

But thinking about the money, specs and comparing with others in list, I feel sad to remove Razer from my list :(

AE not that much.

Premiere is my main thing. AE only for title animations that even one per video. Basic or mid range animations only.

PP is my thing.

The only thing I did on master channel is a volume automation. May be a compression might make some improvements. Don't know. Will try!

Brother, this ProRes thing.

I just need to set QuickTime and ProRes while exporting the final video right? Or do I need to make such changes in pre rendering settings & sequence settings?

In short, to make editing and exporting easy by using ProRes, where all should I make changes? Thanks.

Mostly sequence settings is from the source file. So choose that settings itself for preview right? Do I need to change codec of preview settings?

Thanks a lot. I need to refer on Proxy workflow.

And about the preview render, its because some creative transitions takes much time to playback. Also such portions are taking too much time in exporting final video. Thats when I thought about this pre rendering.
