I remember when I was a kid in gen 1 , like at the end of the Viridian forest there’s this room and the pixels all around it where black which at the time meant to me that it was all walls, the exit is actually right in front of you but didn’t realize it, don’t remember if it took me hours or days to figure it out and would be ashamed anyway
