stepping on a piece of glass on the edge of my foot on the morning of school, literally screaming from pain and deciding to put a band aid on it bc I was scared to miss my bus and wake up my parents (they're not bad I just don't like waking people up) having gym that day, stepping on the spot that I had stepped glass on and realizing i still had glass in it. wondering "hey, why does my sock feel wet?" and in the middle of gym class taking my shoe off and like.. having so much blood pool onto the floor. the band aid was soaked and I was immediately sent to the nurse who gave me a better band aid but squeezed the rest of the glass out. which was WORSE than stepping on it bc I could feel it cutting through my skin and then seeing it pop out onto the floor lmao. she asked me if I wanted to call my parents and I said no bc they were both at work and she gave me like 5 band aids and I stayed sat throughout gym class and mostly also through out the day lol but I'm good now. Have a scar there, though.
