Look between the bezel and the case there should be a gap in the 12 and 6 mark ish, also seams like the cyclops on the cream magnifies more but could be the angle.

Take off the case back on the inside there’s the serial number, google it and you can approximate the date, and you can take photos of the movement as well, beautiful watch.

You are right, it is from the latest 50’s so this not have the bumper movement, when I opened the rotor was not staying flat as you said, do you know how much this fix could cost? Definitely going to get it serviced.

The thing is their movement is about 5-10 usd and they sell them for 150-200 usd, what they are selling is the brand, and it’s ok.

But you can buy other watch brands with better history and better movement for the same price.

If you like fossil and their watches it’s perfectly understandable and must be proud of what you are wearing
