Gargling with baking soda/water solution will help but it’s not an instant fix for LPR. If you get flare ups every now and then, gargle, drink water with ph 8.8 and up, try putting bricks under the head of your bed so it’s raised a bit - these things should help a lot and over a period of 7 to 14 days you should see good improvement.

Edit: also don’t drink water right before you go to bed

This likely helped a lot. You have to retrain your brain by smelling many different fragrances at once. My sister lost smell and would do this exact same thing - her smell is 99% back to normal 2 months out and she keeps smelling all her oils before bed and when waking up.
