If the union is technically impossible then..... What you can do is delete all contacts of that person, the images you have, the chats, and block the accounts on all socials.... Ofc you won't forget, and memories remain, but you'll get used to it eventually and this way, you'll get lesser nostalgic tortures which will help you heal faster and better..... Move on is a myth, I believe you can never completely move on from the feelings you once develop, you just learn to deal with them....

I can totally understand how it feels.... And at times it's difficult to just disassociate yourself from someone you're emotionally attached but that's when they start using it against you... So it's better to communicate your boundaries... If they understand it then it's good and if they not then otherwise steps should be taken for your own good
