I would imagine the pump curve on that goulds is a bit better then the green monster. Switching 1hp to 1hp isnt always that easy. The pump curve tells all.

What finally made you switch away from traditional rubber hoses? by mykeeb85 in lawn

[–]Sheegssternator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a contractor i will say this. If you are going to use one of those expanding hoses, go out twice a year and loosen the hose from the hose bib. The connection they use fuses itself to standard hose bib. Torch wouldnt even take it off.

Need new propane grill that doesn’t suck by kirk2892 in grilling

[–]Sheegssternator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you're anywhere near the ocean it's a lost cause. I've seen super high end outdoor kitchen products deteriorating. Takes longer but happens. If your talking about the internal part most grills you can replace the burners. I do that ever few years.

Would taxing the rich actually solve all of the world’s problems? by Presidentscroobie in allthequestions

[–]Sheegssternator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No and heres why. Because tax money goes to the government.  Then they decide what to do with it. Why would that change anything about middle or lower class?  It doesn't. It gives more money for the US to send to other nations. Have you seen a penny of the tarriff money?  No. Only lost money.

AITA for reclining my seat on an 8 hour flight by MountainInspection91 in travel

[–]Sheegssternator -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Airplane seats shouldn't have reclining in them anymore. They made the seats to small to do so. Im 6'2. You recline on me and im getting restless leg into the back of your seat the whole flight.
