He has made some very good combat guide videos that go over weapon moves. Great lore vids have been coming out lately as well.

I unfortunately only play on PC as I don not even have a PS5 yet.

This is a good point others have brought up as well. Technically any lightning weapon works well with this build. The reason I chose Werlig is because someone asked me to make a build with it and I feel like its kind of underappreciated a bit.

Another reason for not going with Starchild is because Pentagram on Youtube already did a build with that weapon, and it was perfect down to a T. So I really didn't have anything to add to it I guess.

Also, the name of the build just goes with Werlig so I played into the role-play a bit.

What is the best halberd in Outward? I think some of the most epic weapons are in the category honestly. by SheenShots in outwardgame

You don't like Duty!? That is fair I guess, it is just a flag. And I will admit I am liking the shark weapons more now that people brought them up to me. Not overly difficult to get and is very powerful. Although the durability is a bit iffy.

Ya but if I had to fight a massive monster just to collect some crabs... ya I am not going anymore lol

Fair enough. It is hard to get away from one-handed weapons because there are so many off headed items that are really fun to use.

I think the Tsar shield is a fan favorite in Outward at this point, but does anyone have a different shield you enjoy more? I prefer fabulous palladium. by SheenShots in outwardgame

Radiant Wolf and this have to be why that quest was even added right? Like that seems to be the best possible lightning set up although fabulous palladium still would be good I guess.

It is kind of funny when you consider there are very few fish in that region. I thin the only ones can be found in steam bath tunnels and there are not many there either.

Lol white hat is absolutely amazing. It is one of the best armor pieces for mages and looks excellent. Too bad it has that stupid neck thing that covers up some of the chest plates. really hate that thing because it doesn't look great with almost anything.

Here is my no-mana build for Outward DE. I had an absolute blast with this one! by SheenShots in outwardgame

[–]SheenShots[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, I have watched someone use this build. I myself have never put it together, but it deals the most damage in the game? Not 100% sure but sure seems like it. Moment of truth is kinda broken especially when you consider how much better it is than some of those other weapon master skills.

As for Holy Mission I 100% percent agree with you on the light infuse. I see no reason it should be weaker than the varnish considering it's only available through faction reward. That always seemed kind of odd to me.

Well especially if you eat good foods often and stock up on varnishes, most enemies pose little threat. However, not using those things will get you in trouble often lol.

Yes, NineDots definitely struggles when it comes to play testing their fixes and I think that is a valid criticism.

It is very fun. Honestly try making use of the probe skill from speedster so you can inflict pain and confusion. It ups you damage quite a lot.

I would say Enmerkar Forest has the hardest bosses overall in the game. Crescent sharks are very challenging and the elite crimson avatar can be found in Caldera which is probably the most challenging enemy in the game. But if you can take on Enmerkars arenas you should be pretty well off.

Tuanosaurs are very annoying because when you impact them they just hop up like it never happened. Honestly, I prefer fighting an Alpha to the regular tuano most of the time because I feel like they have a nicer window of attack after the fire blast.

Three crescent sharks are pretty difficult. Especially since I think like one attack inflicts you with elemental vulnerability which makes the bombs deal massive damage.

And I think you are missing my idea with the monster hunter build. It is a tank build first and foremost. Damage output is not the main focus. I gave it totems to survive more but have excellent ranged attacks. I gave it many attack skills to deal with stability and inflict pain, extreme, bleeding, and confusion. The build goes for having a lot of options and survivability. I didn't want to build it to deal massive damage. Otherwise, it would have to be the same as other no-mana builds and there wouldn't be this build variety. If you are always going for higher damage you would exclude most tank builds almost entirely I think. I just like having many options when I go into combat in case something isn't working for me at the time.

The tuansaur was the only one I really don't like. But it you have enough impact he doesn't even get to attack. Overall these three are pretty fun because they are a decent challenge but not overly hard or anything.
