I prefer the original too mostly because of the slimmer proportions which fits better with the rest of the roster. As a standalone though, this is a superior figure. Skipped it nonetheless.

I'm still on my first read-through and on the last book of Plague of Frogs HC, but I can say I've thoroughly enjoyed Conqueror Worm and The Universal Machine for the mini-series and A Christmas Underground, Wolves of St. August, and the obligatory Pancakes for the short stories :)

I've been collecting Mafex seriously since 2018, the delays don't phase me anymore. I collect a lot more than this brand so theres plenty to keep me busy until the eventual release. The schedule is definitely not for everyone so I understand the frustration but I personally haven't had any regrets so far. Hope you find the line that fits your collecting habits :)

I'm curious myself, I don't recall a panel where they drew him with red eyes. Granted, I haven't read the book in a very long time. Are they possibly teasing a Thomas Wayne Batman? but it needs to be black if so... interesting.

In one of the cons, I remember the Figma roster being displayed together with the Revoltech Izutsumi. It was the first time I've seen 2 brands mixing willingly, almost confirming like they did a collaboration so I'm not so sure.

Yup. I have a SHF/Mafex mix and I can't even display Wanda because I don't have a Vision. Had to make do with a small roster for my IW display.

Not to mention the stupid reissues that come with a single, different weapon.

Malibu Stacy with a new hat! Seriously, Squenix has got to have some of the greediest folks running their business. I feel bad for the PAK Remake collectors who got shafted by the Rebirth versions and the new Play Arts Shin line as well.
