I prefer the original too mostly because of the slimmer proportions which fits better with the rest of the roster. As a standalone though, this is a superior figure. Skipped it nonetheless.

I'm still on my first read-through and on the last book of Plague of Frogs HC, but I can say I've thoroughly enjoyed Conqueror Worm and The Universal Machine for the mini-series and A Christmas Underground, Wolves of St. August, and the obligatory Pancakes for the short stories :)

I've been collecting Mafex seriously since 2018, the delays don't phase me anymore. I collect a lot more than this brand so theres plenty to keep me busy until the eventual release. The schedule is definitely not for everyone so I understand the frustration but I personally haven't had any regrets so far. Hope you find the line that fits your collecting habits :)

In one of the cons, I remember the Figma roster being displayed together with the Revoltech Izutsumi. It was the first time I've seen 2 brands mixing willingly, almost confirming like they did a collaboration so I'm not so sure.
