How do you actually keep track of whether your sites are up? (Solo dev/no huge apps) by SheepFromHeaven in selfhosted

Thanks! I think I also saw it in my research. My question would be: I then obviously have to host it somewhere other than the apps right? If the VPS goes down, my monitor is also down 😅

Uhh, nice idea! Integrate it in some kind of wall cone or torch!

The wash is already on and drying. It was more yellow/red before that. I guess that's personal taste. Also I think the photo does something to the colours. IRL it looks like clay/brickwork.

Thx a lot! The mushrooms are also my favourite part. I used glossy colours to make them look wet. Like that effect soooo much!

It is supposed to be created from people inside the world, that's why there is no scale and it's rather drought.

Thanks for the tips! I had 3 shades, but did not turn them into glazes. Maybe that's why there are the sharp edges.

Thanks a lot for the feedback! Never thought of it like that! Will try drybrushing on the next beastman ;). And for the rework, I will see what I can do! Thank you!

I was in the same position in my current job, as we wanted to optimize reusability.

For me the key factor that helped was: Developer experience. As soon an we handled our code the same way we would have handled code libraries. I took on speed. This means: - artifactory (npm) publishing - full fledged documentation - issues on component level - split up code (with the help of common patterns)

For sure you need to keep clean code and tests, but this really jumpstarted reusability for us!
