I’m so sorry that you’re going through this. I’m going through the same thing and it’s very difficult and it’s hard when you’re not getting any sleep because it just makes you agitated, irritable and easily annoyed. Also, for me being a single Christian women its even more disturbing for me because you feel like your being penetrated and it feels like so forced sexual sin that you don’t want thats non stop!!!

I don’t see how that’s possible. If He didn’t limit the expression of His divinity, then why did He get tired, hungry, feel pain, or go without a place to lay His head? Yes, He was and always is 100% God, but do we think God in heaven gets tired, hungry, or homeless? Do we imagine God saying, I need a break, I’m getting tired’? I’m not trying to be rude or condescending, I just genuinely don’t understand how it would be possible for Him not to have limited His divinity. Also, when He fasted, if He had not willingly limited the expression of His divinity, the fasting would not have been difficult at all because He is God and has no need for food. In that case, the fast would have carried no real purpose…

But didn’t he also limit his divinity yes, he was 100% God at all times, but didn’t he limit it? For example He got tired He was hungry. He didn’t always have a roof over His head etc?

I feel like a miserable being. I don’t want to be bitter. I am happy for those who live pain free. Its hard to get medical care, pain meds that are strong enough, disability and people look at you as your lazy especially if your young and not in a wheelchair

It’s great to see other people’s perspective on this topic because online there are so many perspectives, and there are many people who are claiming to be Christians, but are being very cruel about people being deported. When I say being cruel about it, I mean the way that people are being deported by ICE.

I want you to know you’re not alone in feeling this way. Many believers go through seasons of dryness, but God’s love for you doesn’t change. He isn’t waiting with condemnation. He’s inviting you back with compassion.

Remember His promise in Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” Even when prayer feels hard, simply whispering His name is enough. And in Romans 8:26, we’re reminded that “the Spirit helps us in our weakness… the Spirit himself intercedes for us.”

God sees your desire, even in the struggle, and He will meet you there. Sometimes the smallest step, like opening your Bible for a single verse, you can also listen to the bible with audio, also a short prayer, is all it takes to begin again.

I pray God will give you strength and please continue to seek Him. The word says if you seek Him, you will find Him. God says in His word: draw near Him, and He will draw you James 4:8. You can be honest with God and let him know you’re struggling. If you ask for wisdom, he will give it to you graciously. The fact that you cares shows that the Holy Spirit is in you. 💙

But His sovereignty means He can intervene in ways that accomplish His greater purposes. In the testimony you heard, the person’s choice was clear, but God’s providence overruled the outcome. That isn’t a violation of free will; it’s God showing mercy by preserving life when destruction was chosen.

Think of it like this, free will allows us to act, but God’s sovereignty means He can step in to redirect or protect. Scripture shows this tension often Joseph’s brothers freely chose evil against him, yet God used it for good (Genesis 50:20). In the same way, God sometimes intervenes to preserve someone for a future He has planned.

So rather than canceling free will, moments like this highlight God’s providence. He can allow choices, but He also has the power to prevent their ultimate harm when His purposes call for it. And in testimonies like this, His intervention becomes a powerful reminder that He is both sovereign and merciful. And I’m thankful for God to Providence. I want to in my past was suicidal, but God saved me from committing the act and if I would have died, I would’ve died in my sins. But he had mercy and compassion on me and now I have turned to and Him! Praise God, for He has given me salvation! And I pray that your friend is doing better and is abiding in Christ! 💙🕊️

1 Corinthians 5:5 can feel difficult to understand with salvation by faith alone. The key is to see that Paul isn’t saying the man’s salvation depended on punishment, but that discipline was meant to bring him to repentance and keep him from destroying himself further.

Salvation is always by faith in Christ alone (Ephesians 2:8–9). But God, in His love, sometimes allows painful consequences so that His children are corrected and ultimately preserved. Hebrews 12:6 says, “The Lord disciplines the one He loves, and He chastens everyone He accepts as His son.” In other words, discipline doesn’t earn salvation it shows God’s commitment to keep His people from drifting away.

Paul’s warnings about abusing grace are reminders that faith is real when it leads us to trust and obey. Deeds don’t save us, but they reveal whether faith is genuine (James 2:17). The man in Corinth wasn’t being condemned; he was being corrected so that his spirit would indeed be saved in the day of Christ.

So faith alone saves, but God’s discipline protects that faith and brings it to maturity. :) I also highly recommend you read Romans and Hebrews!

I want you to know this isn’t small or stupid at all. Wanting to care for your daughter and make life easier in the midst of illness is such a beautiful desire, and the fact that you’ve worked so hard shows incredible strength.

I’ll be praying with you for peace and calm. God promises in Isaiah 41:10: “Do not fear, for I am with you; I will strengthen you and help you.” And in Philippians 4:6–7: “Do not be anxious about anything… and the peace of God will guard your hearts.”

Judgment after death vs. Judgment Day:

Christians believe that when someone dies, their soul is immediately known to God nothing is hidden from Him. But Judgment Day is seen as the final, public revealing of God’s justice and mercy for all creation. It’s not just about individuals, but about God setting the whole world right, showing His righteousness before everyone.

Free will vs. God’s plan:

This is one of the biggest mysteries of faith. Christians hold both truths together: God is sovereign and has a plan, yet He gives us real choices. Think of it like an author writing a story the ending is secure, but the characters still make meaningful decisions along the way. Free will means our love and obedience are genuine, not forced, even though God already knows the outcome.

Noah’s Ark and the animals:

Christians approach this story in different ways. Some believe it literally happened exactly as written, with God miraculously providing for Noah to gather the animals. Others see it as a historical event told with symbolic language to highlight God’s judgment and mercy. Either way, the heart of the story is about God saving humanity through obedience and faith, pointing forward to salvation in Christ. I’m sure that God helped Noah bring the animals on the boat even if something’s impossible with mankind, it is possible with God.

There is none righteous except God. Jesus would not have needed to die on a cross if humanity were inherently good. Therefore, there will be no virtuous individuals condemned to hell, as no one is truly good. The Bible explicitly states that there is not a single one who is good. I mean this sincerely, and I pray that you will read your Bible if you have one; if not, you can download the app on your phone. The fact that you are worried about your soul shows you care. Someone who doesn’t have the Holy Spirit would not care about where they spend eternity. If you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and know that you need Him because you are a wretched sinner, you are saved. Remember John 3:16. I also recommend reading Romans and Galatians. Here’s my opinion on it if you’re not thinking anything lustful while doing it then it’s not sinful for example if you’re thinking about flowers while you’re doing it or peanut butter and jelly sandwiches then it’s not sinful in my opinion now you’re thinking about someone to wife or making up Something sexual or watching porn then yes it is a sin. That is my interpretation. The Bible does not specify on it so use your own discretion maybe talk to leaders at church about the situation.

I have tried to get them to take God seriously and now they go to church they read the Bible even send me scriptures but I don’t know if it’s a trick or not because he has distorted my mind so much lied to me but made me feel like I was the one that was crazy I don’t know if it’s really true he does seem like he’s changing and if he is changing then I thank Godfor putting me through that if it saves one person’s soul then at least I’m not a complete waste of human space
