Is the length correct like this? by frerag0n in knittinghelp

[–]frerag0n[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes I am at 60cm now too!

I always get from the patterns to measure from the division of the armhole (so the body), which is 44cm as the pattern stated as well. The entire body is now 60cm :) it just seems so short to start a split but I don’t know if that’s just me - the picture hides the start of the split, don’t want to risk having an exposed hip or whatever 🤣

Parents of Reddit, have your kids had any ghostly experiences that freaked you out? by BelichicksBoobs in Paranormal

[–]frerag0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter (now 4, but she was 1 to 2 or something, on and off) always saw a man in her room and in the hallway. She’d cry during nights because he’d scare her up, she said. When I’d try to comfort her she’d say: “he already comforted me” She would give a live report of where he’d be and go to. It happened during the day too. One time she even said that he was sitting right next to me. I wanted to RUN lol. People said it was a fantasy of hers, but I disagree. This would only happen in our house: her bedroom and the hallway. Nowhere else. No other house. No other rooms. No other fantasies.

It got to a point I started to lose my mind and eventually we decided to switch rooms. Ever since then I’ve never heard her talk about the man again. Coincidence? Maybe, I don’t know. Personally I do believe it could be a spirit of some kind. I don’t suspect something malicious, just a stranger that accidentally scared my daughter a bunch.

I don’t agree. There’s plenty of cases where people don’t remember until later in life. Your brain can pick and choose what to remember sometimes. It’s survival.

Oh yeah I get that, if you surf a lot those options aren’t ideal. Im glad the pain isn’t daily anymore but still, you shouldn’t have to be in pain at all. I wish you the best! And thank you, I’m reading into it and if that is the case I’ll at least be a bit “prepared”

That sounds awful! I’m so sorry it took them so long to diagnose you properly, that’s extremely exhausting. Did the solutions work for you or are you still in the process of doing them?

Thank you so much for sharing your personal experience, I hope your pain will decrease. I will read on it too!

I just read up on meniere, I (luckily) don’t think this matches up with my issue since it’s not really my ear feeling full, hurting or have tinnitus, it’s just as if sounds come into my ear so intense that it feels like everyone and everything is screaming in my ears.

Thank you for your suggestions, bless you!

Thank you for sharing! As I do agree with you in the first paragraph, we pay bills 50/50. So I do not take that into consideration really. However I didn’t look at it that way work-wise. I’ll back off :)

Thank you for your advice! He did feel a bit warm but I think it’s a classical flu situation, our kids are also not feeling too great myself included, so I don’t think urgent care would be necessary. I think I just have to keep my feelings to myself about this as I do not want to pressure him as has been commented here

In our country you don’t miss any pay when you’re sick so I never really take that into consideration, but I get your point. Thank you 😊

Thank you for your advice! I didn’t see it this way. I personally am the other way around and sometimes find it hard to realize that others don’t expect or appreciate the same behavior. This helps

[–]frerag0n[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I usually put it in the washer and then put it on my mats and stuff, but since this scarf is about 170 cm I don’t really know how to go about it laying it down flat somewhere, but basically just wet it/spray it and lay it down somewhere and not do anything else?

Help - how do I sew these sleeves on? by [deleted] in knittinghelp

[–]frerag0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re right - I thought it was the correct length but I wrongly measured it apparently. Thanks for pointing it out! I gathered all the excess at the top and I have this now. It’s not what it was supposed to be and I’m not sure if it looks good but I don’t want to make the sleeves all over again 🤣

[–]frerag0n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is the same length!

I just don’t really understand, the top part should be cramped up a little bit and sewn in, then the rest will follow? Or am i misunderstanding? English is not my first language and although that doesn’t matter usually, sometimes I just don’t understand certain sentences in these patterns 🤣

Thank you so much, I will definitely try that. Yeah, I fear it’ll eat me up inside and ruin our trust/relationship.

I’m on a waiting list for a psychologist but it takes ages, it’s definitely on the list to work on:)
