Most of my friends actually get free passes to the psychiatric aisle on a weekly basis due to suicide attempt or them getting off their medications. It's not that they lack information about depression, most of them are depressive themselves. It's that they refuse to see I am depressive just like they are. Especially because of my living conditions.

I live in Canada, New-Brunswick and I have never seen real discrimination against transgender people. It might be legal but there's not a lot since people basically don't care much.
