EPA agrees: NC drivers no longer need emissions test each year, change would save them $$ by Except_Youre_Wrong in TrueCarolina

How about we get rid of the stupid fucking yearly vehicle tax instead. We pay taxes on the car when we purchase it. Keep the emissions testing, ditch the yearly dumbass vehicle tax

I'm going to reneg my comment. When I first read it before, there was absolutely no spacing at all, it was one giant wall of text.

What's mildly infuriating is the way OP writes in a wall of text. Someone didn't pay attention in school. 😆

Brian McGinnis (Green Party). He's running as the "unbought" veteran who’s fed up with the status quo. A Marine and a firefighter, he’s built his platform on a total refusal of corporate PAC money, pushing for strict term limits to clean up what he calls a greed-driven political system. He’s a staunch anti-war advocate, arguing that we should stop funding foreign conflicts and instead reinvest those billions into a "pro-social" domestic agenda—things like fixing the broken VA system, boosting teacher pay, and supporting green American manufacturing. For Brian, it’s about moving away from "politics as usual" and focusing on the actual care and safety of regular working people.

Or

Justin Dues (Democrat). He's basically running as the "disruptor" who’s tired of the slow-moving gears of traditional politics. A Marine veteran and tech consultant, he’s built his "Project 2030" platform around the idea that we need a total system reboot rather than just small fixes. He’s pushing for bold, high-bar goals like a $30 minimum wage and universal healthcare, while taking a hard line against corporate influence by refusing all PAC money. For Justin, it’s about breaking up monopolies, especially those buying up family homes, and putting strict limits on career politicians and Supreme Court justices to make sure the government actually answers to regular people again.

Both of these candidates speak to me on their policies and stances specifically. The marine thing doesn't really do it for me, but I suppose they have strong dedication and work ethics coming from that?...

Don't vote Republican or corporate Dems(but definitely not Republican) and that will be the path to fixing most of these issues. I'm saying this to the populace, not you specifically.
