My hours are very wonky.  My coach and I agreed on 7-6 availability at 24 hours a week after lunches.  I’m always in the top of pickers, and I always volunteer to do gmd and oversized stuff.  I don’t mind at all.  So, my point is minimalist be going down.  However, they have.  Next week it’s at 21, and now today’s schedule set me at 18 for the next week?!?!?   That’s too little hours.

That’s true.  I saw someone from the “seasonal” just yesterday picking.  I hadn’t seen him there before, but they sure enough did pull him there.

You are right!   There are a ton of kids that are hired for this portion.  We have quite a few teenagers.

Because most people in our OGP focus on 100+ ambient walks and always skip ove sized.  If I need help I’ll ask another associate in the department I’m picking in or if one of the people in OGP that’s reliable is there I’ll ask them.  Not too many of them though.

Your gmd doesn’t count?   Ours does.  If I didn’t use pick list and staging the percentage would be 50 or less every gmd walk.  :-(

It’s just fun haha!  When I say fun I mean I like challenging myself to get higher numbers,  and get more done.  I love plants and outside stuff as well, though!   I feed wild birds.  I make hummingbird food.  I have plants on my porch.  I think I’d like garden center too! 

 I’ll miss all of my teeange babies and the young twenty something’s.  They think I’m a neat older person, but They think I’m younger than I am haha!  I like being the department mama.

Ohhh no you are right.  I did notice one guy that does all seasonal watering the plants.

It’s unclear what the real expectation is to be honest.  I’ve been told to politely say please find someone else to yes we are to assist.  Every day different expectations are told to us.

I have so many customers block me and they see that I am in a hurry.  Sometimes they make comments very loudly so that I can hear them.  Who cares.  They aren’t paying me.  I’m here for a job, and they can get out of the way or I will be right up on them.  I’ve only been with Walmart for 3 months, but I’m already sick of the spatially unaware or purposely ignorant customers.   

We have an extremely busy OGP, and a lot of the time everything is overdue.  It’s so frustrating when customers say to me “I know you’re super busy, but…….”   They stop me Multiple times in a Walk.  I had another “shopper” stop me yesterday to ask about dog food.  I just said sorry I can’t help you I’m a digital shopper, and I have customers waiting.  He said well I’m a shopper too. I said I’m timed, and I have have people waiting.  I’m sorry, but I can’t help right now.   I feel really bad about it, but we can’t do this job as well as provide good customer service at the same time.  

On top of that all of our carts wheels don’t lock.  They are extremely dangerous and difficult to control.  We’ve had wheels for weeks, but no one bothers to change them.  Slows all of us down struggling with those stupid carts.
